Gladys Williams DEERFIELD BEACH, FL-- Mrs. Gladys Cecil Corbett Williams, 82, of Deerfield Beach, FL, passed away August 30, 2012. A native of Greenville County, she was the widow of Henry Harrison Williams and the daughter of the late Fletcher Corbett and Lula Cason Corbett. She worked for the City of Pompano Beach, FL, and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Pompano Beach. She is survived by three children, Sharon Bishop of Brenton, WV, David Williams and his wife Karen of Minnetonka, MN, and Michael Williams of Toledo, OH; ten grandchildren, Timothy, Aaron, and Jonathan Williams, Nick and Rachel Kizer-Williams, Gregory and Jeffrey Bishop, and Jeremy, Emily and Drew Williams; and twelve great-grandchildren, J.R., Andrew, and Jacob Bishop, Justin, Lauren, Jarrod, and Kara Bishop, Bryce Williams, Kayla and Michael Williams, and Olivia and Nicholas Kizer-Williams. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Lacy Bishop, Jr. and her half-sister, Ruby Ward. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Rainbow Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Wall and Rev. Tommy Knotts officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers serving will be her grandsons. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 501 Northeast 48th Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. The family will be at their respective homes.
