Gladys "Patsy" Andrews Williams, 70, died Dec. 6, 2012, in Pittsburgh. She was born in Fort Pierce and lived in Pittsburgh and Fort Pierce. She was involved in the Fruit Workers Union, was a secretary of the NAACP and worked for the St. Lucie County Board of Elections, all in Fort Pierce. She completed high school and college in Pittsburgh. Survivors include her husband, Calvin Williams; children, Trudene Carey, Noni Williams and Charnedeza Andrews; brothers, Dr. Ben Hickman of Laurorton, N.Y., and Henry Hickman Jr., and John Andrews, both of Fort Pierce; and sister, Earline Rosier of Greenville, S.C. Services: A memorial service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Dec. 22 at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Fort Pierce, with the Rev. Howard Coleman officiating.
