Funeral for Gladys May Campbell, 98, of Falkville will be today, July 24, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Mt. View Baptist Church with the Rev. Harvie Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church. Mrs. Campbell, who died Saturday, July 22, 2006, at Sunbridge Rehabilitation Center, was born Dec. 2, 1907, in Morgan County to George Washington Cloer and Nettie Lou Woods Cloer. She was a homemaker, and a member of Mt. View Baptist Church. Two husbands, Hobart May and Ellis Campbell, three sons, Luard May, Duward May and Oliver Shaneyfelt, and one daughter, Georgia Balentine, preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Hobart May of Florence; one daughter, Vera Kent of Falkville; three sisters, Myrtie Nelson and Vertie Hudgins, both of Falkville, and Jamie Tenneyson of Decatur; 20 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be grandsons and other relatives.
