ALBANY Gladys M. Pierce, 88, of Albany, past away, Sunday, October 29, 2006 at Albany County Nursing Home. She was born March 12, 1918 in Springfield, Mass., the daughter of the late Henry and Lucy (Sweeney) Hebert. She was married to the late Harold T. Pierce. Gladys was a lifelong area resident and was an avid bowler in the Albany area. She is survived by her sons, William, Harold, Ronald, Charles, Kenneth and Thomas Pierce; her daughter, Shirley Miner of Selkirk; as well as 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Her son Robert Pierce, her brother, James Hebert and her sister, Mabel Haddlon predeceased her. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 12 p.m. in the Frederick Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland. Family and friends are welcome from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
