Graveside service for Gladys Lee, 86, of Decatur will be Tuesday, June 8, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Decatur City Cemetery with the Rev. W.K. Stephenson officiating and Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.Mrs. Lee died Sunday, June 6, 2004, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 16, 1918, in Burleson Mountain to Walter N. Lanier and Etta B. Akins Lanier. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Decatur. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond S. Lee; and her daughter, Patricia French. Survivors include one sister-in-law, Marjorie Ledbetter; two grandchildren, Crescent French Smith and Sabrina French-Porter; and one niece, Margaret Sharott and her husband Frank of Hartselle.
