Cook , Gladys Healy, 91, of Boca Raton, formerly of Champaign, Illilnois, died on May 24, 2007, at Boca Raton Community Hospital. She was born June 29, 1915, in America, Illinois, and was married on December, 20, 1941 to Dr. Ralph L. Cook, who preceded her in death in 2001. She is survived by her son, James R. Cook of Boca Raton, his wife, Kay, their daughters, Kristen Cook Oliver, Karyn Cook Milhous, and Kimberly Cook Anglemyer; her son, John A. Cook of Winston-Salem, NC, his wife, Ilona, and their children, Alice Cook Smith, Andrew Cook, and Lauren Cook; and six great- grandchildren. Mrs. Cook received a B.A. degree at Southern Illinois University and a M.S. degree from the University of Illinois. She was a junior high math teacher in the Champaign school system, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Champaign. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, at 10:30 a.m, in the Chapel of the First Presbyterian Church of Pompano Beach, 2231 NE 26th Ave. The Reverend Jack Noble will officiate. Burial will follow at the Boca Raton Cemetery.
