Gladys Cock, born in 1921, spouse of Joe Simard, daughter of Richard and Gladys, mother of Geral and Gloria, died on March 17, 2005 at 84 years old.
SIMARD Gladys (nee Cock) Passed away peacefully on March 17, 2005, at home, in her 84th year, with her family at her side. Re-united with her beloved husband Joe (1991). Survived by son Gerald and wife Sandy, and pre-deceased by daughter Gloria (1999), and son-in-law John Hogan (2004). Pre-deceased by her mother Gladys Cock (nee Merritt) and father Richard Cock, and siblings Edith Milne, Edna Lachner, and Wilfred Cock. Cherished Grandmother to 10 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 13 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gladys was an active member of R.C.L. Branch 143 and a former member of R.C.L. Branch 94. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Friday March 18, 2005 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Prayers Friday at 7:30 pm. Relatives and friends are requested to meet on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at St. Alphonsus Church (85 Park St., E. at Goyeau) for visitation from 9:00 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Alphonsus Church, or to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated.
