JOHNSON Gladys Bass Johnson 79, of Jacksonville passed away July 30, 2004. A native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville, she had retired from the Jacksonville Shipyards, and was a Baptist by faith. She is survived by her daughter: Kathy Smith, 2 sons: George Bass and Bobby Bass, several grandchildren, and great- grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at George H. Hewell and Son Northside Funeral Home, 4747 Main St., where funeral services will be held 10 AM Wednesday, burial will follow in Ferreira Memorial Cemetery.
