Obituary of Gladys Anderson


ANDERSON, Gladys Melvina May Rose (nee Laurendeau) 78 years old. Born in Windsor. Daughter of Leo and Rose Laurendeau. Loving wife of William Bruce Anderson, sharing life for 59 years. Gladys passed on September 3, 2010 at Malden Park, Windsor Western Hosp. after recently being diagnosed with cancer. Gladys will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children Noreen Renaud (Reg), Debra Warren, Robert Anderson and Michelle Stein (Mark). She will joyfully reunite with her eldest daughter Pamela who went on her own journey 4 years ago. Dear grandmother of Kevin and Jeff Renaud, Melanie and Ryan Anderson, and Matthew and Marissa Stein. Great-grandmother of Elizabeth Trudelle-Renaud, Dolton, and Seirra Renaud. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 8th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the C. Stuart Sykes Funeral Home, 91 Division St. S. Kingsville. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John De Brebeuf Church, Kingsville on Thursday, Sept. 9th at 10 a.m. She will lay to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Windsor. In memory of Gladys and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your choice of the following organizations; Youth and Family Resource Network of Kingsville, United Way Centraide-Windsor Essex or the Red Cross.
