AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Gladys A. Johnson, 92, of Prince Road, entered into rest Sunday, May 7, 2006 at Blair House Nursing and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Great St. John Baptist Church with Rev. Melvin Ivey officiating. Burial will be at Walker Memorial Park. Mrs. Johnson, a native of Aiken County, S.C., was a member of Greater St. John Baptist Church. She is survived by four daughters, Rosa Mae Dashells, Mary A. Mason, Augusta, Ginny L. Crawford, Florida, Virginia P. Mosley, Jackson, N.C.; one son, John Charles Norman, Grovetown, Ga.; 28 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Minnie Hunter, Jackson, S.C.; one niece, Fairy Bell Latson, Augusta; two dear friends, Janie O'Bryant and Carolyn Davis, Augusta; other relatives.
