Giovanna was born in the Bronx on October 7, 1919, to the late Caroline and Erminio Massafra. She worked for the City of New Rochelle Finance Dept. as a payroll senior account clerk.She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Martin whom she married in 1955. He died in 1973; her sisters Laura Vinci and Lucy Azznara, and her brother Gino Massafra.Visiting hours will be Tuesday 4-7pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, Inc., 16 Shea Pl., New Rochelle, where a funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday 12 noon.
