ROGERS Ginger Beatrice Rogers, age 46, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at home with her loving family by her side. Ginger is survived by her parents, Catherine Rogers of Bridgeport, William Rogers Sr. (Etta) of Rawlings, Va.; two sons, Shondell Rogers and Cornelius Brown; a niece, Catherine Rogers; and a nephew, Terrance Rogers that Ginger helped raise; four sisters, Denise Rogers Rollins (Harold), Theresa Rogers-Jones, Tina Rogers Willams and Tawana Johnson; a brother, Timothy Rogers, all of Bridgeport. A loving companion, Tony Compare; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Services will be held on Monday at Holy Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C., 2271 North Avenue, Bridgeport, at 7 p.m. Viewing is from 6 to 7 p.m. Interment is Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 10 a.m. in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport.
