Peacefully at the Montreal General Hospital on January 5, 2001. Gillian M. Williams, dear friend of Jean Spear. Beloved aunt of Carol Watson (Jonathan) and Nicola Jane Fidler (Martin) and loved great-aunt of Robert, Thea, Duncan and Edmund. Predeceased by her brother Beetle Williams (Susan Caroline of Paphos, Cyprus) and her parents Frank and Dorothy Williams, Blundellsands, Liverpool, England. Born in Blundellsands, Liverpool, England in 1926, immigrated to Canada in 1954. Spent a lifelong career as a social worker, firstly at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal and then at Mount Sinai Hospital, Ste. Agathe. Her great conversation and enduring wit will be missed by all who knew her. At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation. Cremation in the spring. A Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Church, Morin Heights, followed by a private interment at Ste. Agathe Protestant Cemetery, date to be determined.
