DUCHESNE, Gilles 1938-2006 After a lengthy struggle against cancer, on Wednesday, March 1st, 2006, Gilles Duchesne of Ottawa, Ontario, at the age of 67 years. Beloved husband of Gisele Lalonde. Dear son of the late Procule Duchesne and the late Jeanne-Claire Lalonde. Loving father of Lynne (late David Leach) and Denis (Jeannette Pharand). Cherished grandfather of 4 grandchildren: Matthew and Amy Leach, Samantha and Chad Duchesne. Also survived by one brother, Jean-Francois (Manon Drolet); two sisters: Madeleine and Michelle (Remi Toupin); many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one brother, Jean-Yves (Claudette Laviolette).
