MICHAUD Gilbert A. Michaud, age 88, of Stratford, windower of Norma M. Bushey Michaud, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 28, 2003. Born in Van Buren, Maine, on November 7, 1914, he resided in the greater Bridgeport area for the past 45 years, until recently residing in Gardener Heights Retirement Home in Shelton. He was a World War II veteran of the Army and retired from Textron Lycoming. He leaves behind his loving son, Arthur and his wife, Lori; and a granddaughter, Norma, all of Stratford. He also leaves behind several stepchildren and their families. He was predeceased by his wife, Norma; two brothers, Roger and Ralph Michaud; and two sisters, Pauline Clotier and Jeanette Lajoie. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 8 to 10 a.m. In the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. Interment will follow immediately at St. Michael’s Cemetery Stratford.
