VANCE, Gertrude passed away peacefully on June 29, 2006 at the Victoria General Hospital. Gert was born on May 8, 1918 in Swift Current Sask. Gert graduated from high school & business school in Swift Current and then worked for the Pioneer Co-Op. She moved and worked in Ottawa as a clerk from March 1941 to 1948. After the war Gert moved to Calgary and worked for Midland Osler Securities. In 1967 Clark, Gert's brother, drove her out to Victoria where she lived happily for 38 years. One of Gert's pleasures was the buying and selling of homes. Gert will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews. No service by Gert's request. 265467
