-> Mrs. Williams, 86, died Monday, February 2, 2004 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Native of Pineora Georgia living most of life in Savannah. Mrs. Williams was very active in the Salvation Army serving as the official Bell Ringer in 1945, she also was the secretary for the Home League, she taught Sunday School, she was the chaplain for the Sunbeams all with the Salvation Army. She was chaplain for the Homemakers for St. Paul's and past president for the Whitemarsh Island Homemakers. Mrs. Williams was a secretary for the Junior League and an active volunteer for the Chatham County Extension Office. Surviving is her sister, Helen L. Faust of Rincon and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel. Funeral Service will be Thursday 11 a.m. Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.
