Gertrude H. Murphy DOVER - Gertrude H. Murphy, 80, of Dover died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Massachusetts General Hospital. She was born Oct. 29, 1932, in Braintree, Mass., the daughter of James and Isabel (Donnelly) Goggin. She was the loving sister of Richard, Arthur and William Goggin of Massachusetts and Sister James Peter (Ruth Goggin) of Florida. She is survived by four children: John and Daniel Murphy of Austin, Texas, JoAnn Baer and her husband Michael of Contoocook, and Robert Murphy and his fiancee, Juliana Roberts of Dover; four grandchildren: Michael and Julia Baer, Camden and Myles Murphy; one brother, Richard Goggin of Buzzards Bay, Mass., and one sister, Sr. James Peter of Tampa, Fla.; and several beloved nieces and nephews. Gertrude, "Trudie," loved her family and friends, knitting, playing cards and bingo, and volunteering. She was a loyal friend, always ready to lend a helping hand. Her pleasant jovial nature touched many, and she will be missed. A time of visiting will be Friday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. followed by the funeral at 3 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., Dover. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Mansfield, Mass.
