She was 96.Born on March 16, 1916 in Poughkeepsie to the late George and Gertrude Mishkovitz Niznik.Gertrude was a retired Senior Assembler for IBM.She is survived by her Son Richard Collins of Poughkeepsie, Grandson Kevin Collins and his wife Dana and 2 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene Collins, her son William Collins, 3 brothers Frank, George and John Niznik and a sister Anna Niznik.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 3, 2012 at 9:45am at Holy Trinity Church 775 Main Street, Poughkeepsie.
