SMITH Geraldine "Jerry," 59, of Paterson, NJ. She departed this life on Saturday, January 10, 2009. Ms. Smith was employed as a Teacher for Head Start, Just Us Kids and Day Care 2000 all located in Paterson, NJ. She obtained an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development in 1988-1989. She was the loving mother of Yvette Sims and Jennifer Smith; the daughter of the late Willie L. and Ella Mae Smith; the sister of Theron, James (Luwill), Lenton (Ann), Tommy (Margaret) and Sylvester (Valerie) Smith and the late Willie Mae Mitchell, Emma Lee Harrison, Bishop Nemiah Smith and Bobby Smith; the grandmother of Tyrone and Tyrek Smith, ShyKira Johnson and Tayjion Nahiem Rey; the mother-in-law of John Sims. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and neighbors. Services: Friday, January 16, 2009 at 7 PM at the Carnie P.
