Ms. Geraldine Raymond, age 59, passed into rest February 7, 2008, at her residence under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. The native of Bulloch County was a member of the Gays Hill Baptist Church and a homemaker. Memories are left to be cherished by three daughters, Vernessa Raymond and Shelia Raymond, Statesboro, and Sabrina Raymond, Valdosta, Ga.; a sister, Merits Sampson, Statesboro; six brothers, Freddie Raymond, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Joseph Raymond and Charlie Raymond, both of Florida, Jimmie Raymond, Statesboro, Johnelle Raymond, Stillmore, Ga., and Russell Raymond, Augusta; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral service for Ms. Raymond will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2008, (Today) at the Mt. Zion A.M. E. Church with the Rev. Larry Cone officiating.
