Funeral service for Geraldine (Jerri) Ellen Smith, 66, Fleming AveNue, Ormond Beach, who passed away August 31, 2008, will be held Saturday September 6, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Dale Woodward Funeral Home, 167 Ridgewood Avenue, Holly Hill, with Minister Wiley Lowe officiating. Interment will be in Texas. Friends wishing to call and pay their respects may do so Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Smith was born in Holly Hill, Florida, and moved back to this area in November 2007 after living 16 years in Virginia. She was a graduate of Mainland High School Class of 1959, a department manager for Builders Square and a member of Holly Hill Church of Christ. Mrs. Smith enjoyed yard and garage sales, reading, old movies and was an avid fan of American Idol. She was also an animal lover and enjoyed caring for her plants. Mrs. Smith was predecease by her husband, Ezell, and two brothers, Carl and Edward. Survivors include a daughter, Sherri Morrow, Virginia Beach, Va.; two sons, Wayne Smith and Wade (Scott) Smith and his wife, Karen, all of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sisters, Alice Miller, Port Orange, and Wilma Lowe, Holly Hill; five grandchildren, Jasmine Shaefer, Germany, Kristoffer Smith, Skylar Smith, Joshua Morrow, and Alexandra Smith, all of Virginia Beach, Va.; numerous beloved nieces and nephews; and a niece and daughter of her heart, Tina Anderson, Ormond Beach.
