Dewt.31:8 (NIV) In his time, God called home our beloved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend on August 04, 2004, at the age of 36 years. Gerry will be sadly missed by his two brothers and extended family, Dean Glover, Byron (Karla) Glover and nephew Austin Glover; his mom and dad Bob and Ina Vander Maas; sister-in-law Joanne (Elmer) Vander Maas-Haan; two nieces Kristen Vander Maas and Cassy Vander Maas and many relatives and friends; his special care givers Kim, Terry and Steven Denny, Terry Williams and David Coates. Gerry was predeceased by his brother Jack Vander Maas in 1996 at the age of 36 years. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so on Tuesday, August 10 between 6:00 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. at the Foster & McGarvey Funeral Chapel, 10008 - 103 Street. A Graveside Service will take place on Wednesday, August 11 at 1:30 p.m. at Westlawn Memorial Gardens.
