HENDERSON, GERALD CLIFFORD The death of Gerald Clifford Henderson, husband of Leota (Pond) Henderson, of Stanley, NB, occurred on November 23, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 23, 1924 in Wolfville, NS, he was a son of the late Clifford and Elizabeth (Keddy) Henderson. Gerald served with the Canadian Armed Forces in the Second World War. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Beaverbrook Branch # 80, and he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and sports. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Tim (Betty) Henderson of Bristol, NB and Greg (Linda) Henderson of Fredericton, NB; step - son, Lonnie (Ann) Jones of Donkin, NS; step-daughter, Kathy (Rickey) Lavigne of Cross Creek, NB; four grandchildren, Sandy, Randy, Troy and Angie; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene (Phyllis Sanford) of Walton, NS and Cecil Henderson of Ontario; one sister, Marjorie Kontuk of New Glasgow; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Phyllis Ells and one brother Donald. Although there will be no visitation, a Funeral Service will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church, on Sunday, November 27, 2005 at 2 pm with Rev. Ranall Ingalls officiating. A reception will follow at the church. Interment will take place at St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Oromocto, NB. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Diabetic Association or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
