Obituary of Georgia-Mae Davis


RAMSEY DAVIS, GEORGIA MAE, 74, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2004, at her home. She was born January 17, 1930, in Big Creek, KY, to the late Ira E. and Ada Baker Sparkman. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Tabor Church of Christ in Depauw, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Davis, three brothers and two sisters. Surviving are six daughters, Sharon S. Neafus (Dubby) of Corydon, IN, Carolyn A. Rothrock (Scott) of Ramsey, Linda J. Flock (Dennis) of New Salisbury, IN, Susan M. Kimpel (Scott) of Henderson, TN, Joyce M. Kincheloe (Dewey) of Mystic, CT, and Brenda K. Masden (Timothy) of Georgetown, IN; two sons, Charles R. Davis (Lynn) of New Salisbury and James P. Davis of Ramsey; a stepson, Charles P. Davis Jr. of California; a sister, Susie Whittaker of Ramsey; 19 grandchildren; and six great-grand-children. Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Tabor Church of Christ in Depauw, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and after 10 a.m. Sunday at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Hwy. 64 NW in Ramsey.
