LOWELL - Georgette (Buote) Desmarais, 83, a lifelong resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell who had been a waitress in the city, died unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 19, at Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Roland E. Desmarais.She was born in Lowell on Feb. 22, 1920, a daughter of the late Edmund and Alice (Montbleua) Buote. She received her education in Lowell schools.Prior to retiring, Mrs. Desmarais was a waitress with the Campus Restaurant in Lowell.She was a communicant of Ste. Jeanne d'Arc Church in Lowell and a member of the Centralville Senior Citizens and Dracut Senior Citizens Clubs.Her survivors include two sisters, Alice Rivet and Lorraine Lowe, both of Lowell; and two brothers, Edmund Tellier of Nashua, and Francis Tellier of Belmont, N.Y.Mrs. Desmarais was also the mother of the late Normand and Richard Desmarais and the sister of the late Aurore Matte.
