George Wolansky Sr., 88, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., formerly of Clark, N.J., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, surrounded by loving family, at the Roper St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, S.C. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral on Monday, March 31, 2014, at 8:30 a.m. from the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home, 211 Westfield Ave., Clark, thence to Sts. Peter & Paul R.O. Church, 158-161 Stiles St., Elizabeth, N.J. 07208, where a funeral service will be offered at 10 a.m. Interment is at Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside. Born in Elizabeth to Matthew and Mary Wolansky, Mr. Wolansky resided in Clark since 1958, and most recently Mt. Pleasant for the past 2-1/2 years. He worked as a machine operator for Procter & Gamble Co. of Port Ivory, Staten Island, N.Y., for 41 years. He was a former trustee of the Sts. Peter & Paul R.O.Church of Elizabeth. He was the beloved husband for 60 years of Anna (nee Kurdilla); loving father of George Jr. (Michele), Michael (Loretta), and Andra Larkin (Brian); caring brother of Joseph, John, Mary, Richard Wolansky, and the late Anne Skairus; cherished grandfather of Michael, Matthew, Elizabeth, Bridget, and Michael Jr. Wolansky, and Andrew and Alexandra Larkin.
