Retired Farmer, Businessman WARRENTON, Ga. - Mr. George Willie Norris, age 95, of Macon Highway SW entered into rest Friday evening, July 25 at Warrenton Health & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 28, 2003 at Long Creek Baptist Church, Warrenton, with Rev. Grady King officiating. Burial will follow in Church Cemetery. Mr. Norris will lie in state in the church for one hour prior to the funeral services Mr. Norris, a native of Washington County, had resided in Warren County for most of his life. He was a retired farmer, and retired owner of Norris Furniture Store and Norris Saw Mill. Mr. Norris was a member of Long Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Elsie Dunn Norris of Warrenton, a nephew Roland Norris of Warrenton and a niece Joyce Long of Dublin. Pallbearers will Kenneth Norris, Larry Norris, Mike Stowe, Delmar Pennington, Elam Dudley, and Dwain Stowe. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Mens Bible Class of Long Creek Baptist Church. Memorial contributions be made to the Long Creek Baptist Church, 2086 Long Creek Baptist Church SW, Warrenton GA 30828.
