George W. Kissenberth Sr., of New Providence, N.J., passed away in his home on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at the age of 83. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial, 646 Springfield Ave., Berkeley Heights, N.J., on Tuesday, July 10, at 9:30 a.m., followed by the memorial service which begins at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. He enjoyed the beach and boardwalk, especially the family's home in Maryland. George was a harbor pilot for the Sandy Hook Pilots Association in Staten Island, N.Y., before retiring in 1985 after 37 years. He was the beloved husband for 30 years to Jo (nee King); loving father of George (Nanette) Kissenberth Jr. of Vermont, and Joanna Klein of Florida, and step-father of Tracey (Jim Chauncey) Tucker of New Providence, N.J., and Timothy (Allison) Tucker of Oklahoma; dear brother of Jeanne Donovan of Staten Island, N.Y.; cherished grandfather of Asher Klein, Skyler Martin, Emily and Riley Kissenberth, Madison Wood and Matthew (Jennifer) Woolridge, and great-grandfather of Tyler Woolridge and Victor Martin.
