Obituary of George-W. Clarke

CLARKE, George W., 58, of Tampa, died Thursday, June 14, 2007. Mr. Clarke was born in Morganton, N.C., and lived in Tampa for many years. By trade, he was a welder and worked at Tampa Shipyard for 20 years and helped fabricate the Kumba rollercoaster at Busch Gardens. In addition, he was a chef and was manager of the Alessandroas Restaurant. Survivors include his wife of nine years, Denise; stepdaughter, Crystal Cipriani of Tampa; brother, Steven Clarke of Alabama; sister, Teresa Fitzpatrick of Alabama and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, at Segal Funeral Home, Bay Area Chapel, 6822 W. Waters Ave., Tampa.
