TRENTON - George Thomas "Tommy" Goss Sr., 75, of Trenton, transitioned on Saturday, July 28, 2012, surrounded by family.Born in Trenton, Tommy, as he was affectionately called, was a lifelong resident and educated in the Trenton public schools. He loved the sport of boxing and was part owner of Goss and Goss Boxing Club. Drawing, painting and fishing were his favorite hobbies.Tommy was employed at the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital, Acme-Hamilton and Shell Chemical Corporation. In 2005, he retired from the Sarnoff Research Center in Princeton as a security guard.Tommy was predeceased by his wife, Joann Goss, his parents, Jesse and Martha Goss, a son, George Jr. "Buster," sisters, Rosie and Regina Goss, twins, Adrienne Moore and Arlene Saunders, brothers, Jesse Jr. and LeRoy Goss. Surviving are a daughter, Stephanie Michelle Goss of Ohio; two grandsons, Kamon Jabbar Goss of Trenton and Jarrett Raheem Goss of Ohio; an adopted daughter, Mary (Cathy) Leary; three brothers, Barry, Sammy (Sharon) of Trenton and Jan Terry Goss of Hattiesburg, Miss.; two sisters-in-law, Gloria Long and Carol Crews; a special aunt, Harriet Davis; a favorite niece, Sonya "Bonnie" Goss; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Memorial Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Chapel, 1225 Calhoun St., Trenton.
