SMITH, George Carman Went to be with his Lord and Saviour on December 10, 2003 at Country Village Health Care Centre. Devoted husband of 54 years to Betty (nee Childerhose). Loving father of Ken and wife Sandra of Windsor, Janice of Windsor, Tim of Milton, Judy of London. Cherished Grandpa of Kristy, Kevin and Jamie. Dear brother of Mary Christie of Wyoming and brother Grand (deceased). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. George was a Veteran of WWII and played in R.C.A.F. Band. Mr. Smith was a Chartered Accountant in Windsor for over 50 years and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. He was also a long time member of Heritage Park Alliance Church. Visiting at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, December 14, 2003 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Family and friends are requested to meet Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at Heritage Park Alliance Church for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Ray Deitz officiating and assisted by Rev. Garth Leno. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
