-> Metter - George Robert "G.R." Lee, 78, died Monday, April 7, 2003 at his farm in Bulloch County. Before retiring, he was employed by Claxton Poultry Company for many years. He was an avid garden farmer and did landscape maintenance. He was a member of the Metter Primitive Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jean Deal Lee. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Pam Lee of Metter; daughter, Marsha Cannady of Rincon; sister, Anne Phillips of Sunnyvale, CA; four grandchildren, Meghan, Nichols and Laura Lee and Tiffany Cannady.
