Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. this evening in the chapel of Snead Funeral Home for George Kyle Jackson, 84, Gadsden, who died March 13, 2012. Speakers will be Jerry Jackson, Jason Jackson, Larry Brooks and Shane Brooks. Singer will be Jeremy Jackson. Cremation will follow the service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eulene Jackson; his parents, William Columbus and Clara Elizabeth (Holley) Jackson; brother, Billy Jackson.He is survived by the mother of his children, Waunetta Jackson Mackender; daughter, Sandra and Larry Brooks, Snead; son, Dennis and Jeanna Jackson, Gadsden; daughter, Jennifer and Terry Converse, Manhattan, Kan.; son, Jerry and Andrea Jackson, Belvue, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia Page, Attalla; brother, Gordon and Corthell Jackson, Gadsden; a host of nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, make donations to the Veterans Administration.Visitation is from 5 p.m. until funeral time.
