ORMOND BEACH - George Anthony Keefe, 83, of Cypress Grove Lane, a retired truck driver, died Wednesday at Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial. Born in Jersey City, N.J., Mr. Keefe, a Marine veteran of World War II, moved here in 1987 from Aberdeen, N.J. He was a member of the Military Order of Devil Dogs, the American Legion Post 120, the Eagles Post 3800 and the Elks 2193 and was a lifetime member of the Marine Corp League and the Disabled American Veterans. Survivors include his wife, Eileen; two sons, George, Manahawkin, N.J., and Brian, Charlottesville, Va.; two daughters, Ellen Mackerowski, Clearwater, and Kerry Keefe, Ormond Beach; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Volusia Memorial, Ormond Beach, is in charge.
