George Jackson, 78, of Athens, passed away on March 31, 2014Survivors include his wife, Helen Jackson; daughter, Geneva Lattimore-Mbanefo; niece, Joan Roach; and brother-in-law, Luther Darden.Viewing will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 4, at the funeral home.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, at Thankful Baptist Church, in Stephens, with interment in the church cemetery.
