AVON PARK -- Mr. George B. Jackson of Avon Park died of failure to thrive Thursday (March 17, 2005) in Avon Park. He was 87.Born in Webster, Mass., on June 29, 1917, he came to Avon Park from Rivera Beach in 1981. He was a telephone company supervisor. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a Baptist.Mr. Jackson is survived by his son, Bob Musser, Avon Park; daughter, Linda Dickey, Texas; 13 grandchildren. Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Avon Park.
