George H. Jackson, 73, of Tuscumbia, Ala., died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004.Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel.Mr. Jackson was a native of Opp, Ala., and was a veteran of the Korean War.He was a successful Montgomery, Ala., business owner and retired to Tuscumbia.He was very involved in various civic organizations and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and First United Methodist Church of Montgomery.Survivors include his wife, Jencie Scofield Jackson, of Tuscumbia; daughters, Joni Jackson Spivey, of Montgomery, Janet Jackson Rumbley, of Tuscumbia, Joy Jackson Dawes, of Huntsville; and five grandchildren.Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, is directing.
