FORSTER, George RussellMarch 23, 1937 - July 30, 2012The loving family of George would like to announce his peaceful passing at home at the age of 75. George was a dedicated resident of the City of Calgary and joined the Calgary Fire Department in June 1957 retiring as a Division Chief in January 1994. George's caring, generous spirit and sense of humour will live on in the hearts of his wife Sharon, daughter Cam-Lorell, extended family and dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents Catherine and Russell, his sister Gloria and his daughter Tiffany Lorell. A Memorial Service celebrating George's life will be held at First Alliance Church, 12345 - 40 Street S.E., on Wednesday, August 15 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial tributes may be made directly to the Calgary Firefighters Burn Treatment Centre, Foothills Medical Centre, 1403 - 29 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 2T9. Heartfelt thanks to the Tom Baker Special Services and Palliative Care Team for the kindness and great care provided to George.
