Mr. George F. Jackson, age 76, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., died on Nov. 11, 2014 at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church starting 1 p.m., with interment to follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Terrance Bulger officiating. A wake will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, 2014 at McLaughlin Mortuary.Mr. Jackson was born on July 2, 1938 to the late George Jackson Sr. and Annie Carroll Ousley. He spent many years as a long-haul truck driver and later as a warehouse manager. He was a member of the fraternal order of masons for more than 50 years. His hobbies included fishing, gardening, automotive paint and body work, cooking, traveling and most of all the love of his family.Survivors include his wife, Bessie M. Jackson, of Fort Walton Beach; daughters, Mary A. Duncan and husband Dan of Fort Walton Beach, Annie J. Wilson and husband Freddy of Fayetteville, Ga., Dorothy J. Maddox of Fort Walton Beach, and Debbie A. Ousley of Fort Walton Beach; and one son, George F. Jackson Jr. of Covington, Ga.; sisters include, Daisy Jackson of Crestview, Fla., Elizabeth Johnson of Shalimar, Fla., Dorothy Bess of Crestview, Fla., Elouise Daniels of Crestview, Delois Jackson of Crestview and Lessie Garcia-Latimore of Wetumpka, Ala.; three sisters-in-law, Jackie Jackson, Lonnie Jackson and Josephine Brown all of Fort Walton Beach.Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his father, George Jackson, Sr.; mother, Annie Carroll Jackson; daughters, Juanita Jackson-Hollie and Ranine Jackson-Bell; brothers, Alto Jackson, Johnny Jackson, James Jackson and George Jackson Jr.; and sisters, Georgia M.
