Obituary of George-E. Lee


-> George Eddley Lee, 80, of Savannah, Georgia and formerly of Lafayette, Georgia, widower of Geneva Dedmon Lee, died Sunday morning, December 14, 2003, at Azalealand Nursing Home. Born in Hamilton County, Tennessee, he was a son of the late James E. Lee and Jennie Fuller Lee. Mr. Lee was of the Baptist faith and retired from Hardware/Garden Center sales. He was a United States Army Air Corp veteran having served in the South Pacific during World War II. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Michael T. and Nancy C. Lee of Savannah, Georgia; three grandchildren, Mark Lee and his wife Tonya of Knoxville, Tennessee, Elizabeth Lee, a student at Georgia Southern University, and Richard Lee, a student at Savannah Christian Preparatory School, and one great-grandson, Hunter Lee. Funeral service was held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning at the graveside, Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, Tennessee, conducted by The Reverend Dr. Charles A.
