George E. Beres Sr. August 6, 1957 - April 13, 2013 Canterbury - George E. Beres Sr., 55, passed away Saturday evening at the Backus Hospital Plainfield Emergency Care Facility. He was born on Aug. 6, 1957, in Norwich, CT a son to the late Sophie Banasiewicz and Step Father Mayo Papini. On April 26, 1975 he married Donna (Trudeau) Beres. She survives him. In addition to his wife, George is survived by his daughter Kelly Beres, brother Christopher Papini, sisters Paula Peterson and Marybeth Congdon, three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his son George Beres Jr. and brother's Larry and Andy Beres.
