GEORGE D. "PETE" LEE Of Oceanside, one year ago May 16, 2013. Preceded in death by his wife Carol (nee Ward) of 50 years. He was a graduate of Southside High School, S.U.N.Y. Cortland and Hofstra University and taught Physical Education in the Lawrence School District for over 30 years. He proudly served his country during WWII. Loving father of Penny Lee Williams and Peter G. Lee, brother of Ralph W. Lee, cherished grandfather of Jenny Lee Graystone, Airman Krista Lee Williams, Justin C. Lee, Michael G. Lee and Peter G. Lee, Jr., great-grandfather of Kori and Lucia Graystone. A private memorial service was held at Calverton National Cemetery. "THE GREATEST GENERATION"
