MORRISON _ George Alfred March 30, 1923 - September 24, 2006 Died peacefully at Langley Memorial Hospital. He is survived by Hilda, his loving wife of sixty years, 3 daughters, Gail (Ken) Terrace, Heather (Len) Merritt, Kelly (Mark) Maple Ridge, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. He was a kind and gentle man who was devoted to his wife and family. George served overseas in WW2, enlisting at the age of 17. He traveled the world with his wife and made many trips to Reno. George was a hard-working man who worked for Woodwards for 45 years at the Downtown and Coquitlam stores. He was "THE MASTER" crib player and loved to play cards. After a lengthy stay in hospital, his final wish to return home was granted and this was a great comfort to his family. A celebration of George's life will be held on Saturday, September 30 at Willow Park Estates Clubhouse. 6467-197th St., Langley between 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in George's memory may be made to the Langley Memorial Hospital.
