ALBANY George Aaron Jackson, beloved father and grandfather, died peacefully at his home on Thursday, June 17, 2004, surrounded by loved ones. George was born in Huntington, Long Island, N.Y. on February 19, 1929, the fifth child of Clara and James Jackson. George attended public school in Huntington and Albany, N.Y. George was a master presser in the Albany area for over 50 years and retired from NYS OGS. He was a member of the Capital City Lodge #78 and CSEA Retirees Union. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, James Jr., Norman and Helen; his daughter, Louris; wife, Anger (Evelyn) Parson Jackson. He leaves to mourn, his sister, Florence Jackson-Fraizer; brother, Howard Jackson; children, Gloria Wilson, Barbara Jackson, Brenda Jackson, Valerie Paul, Isaac Paul, Clara Paul (Donald), Judith Tucker, Georgette Jackson, Leslie Paul and George Stephen Paul; 25 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Barbara Jackson; five nieces and nephews; a host of cousins and friends. Funeral services Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at 12 p.m., Mount Olive Baptist Church, 236 North Pearl Street. Viewing 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Interment immediately following at Memory's Garden.
