ANDERSON, Genevieve (nee Jasper) It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Genevieve Anderson on Saturday, May 9, 2009 after a valiant fight with ovarian cancer. Genevieve was predeceased by her husband Willard in 2004; daughter Dawn Anderson in child birth; grandson Robert Gill in 1999; brother Johnny Jasper; sisters Kathleen Anderson, Helen Houliston, Dorothy Huber, Laura Fry, and Marjorie Jasper; brothers-in-law Ernie Huber, Robert Anderson, Marshall Anderson, and Bill Houliston. Genevieve is survived by her son Keith Anderson (Susan) and daughter Kathleen Gill; grandsons Keith Gill (Colleen) and Christopher Anderson; granddaughter Shannon Anderson; great granddaughters Shauni Gill, Sarah Gill, Rigby Gill, Josie Gill, and Cole Gill; sister Mabel Pratt (Jack); brother Dick Jasper (Marina); brother-in-law Jim Fry; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes thanks to the Cancer Clinic, Palliative Care, Dr. Laursen, Dr Al-Hayki, Dr Brydon and the nursing staff on 4A Pasqua Hospital for their compassion and great care they gave to Genevieve and her family. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday May 14, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. in the Southey Baptist Church, burial and luncheon (at the Southey United Church) to follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre or the Regina Palliative Care Inc.
