Geneva Batson Wilson, 84, died on Saturday, May 22, 2010.Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late William M. and Lelia Gosnell Batson. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother & friend. She was a member of Sans Souci Baptist Church and the Mission Today Group. She loved her garden & her McDonalds coffee group. Surviving are her daughters, Tonda King, Susan Wilson and her partner, Beth Newton; granddaughters, Mandy & Megan Gentry and chosen family, Nellie Farnsworth; Marsha, Taylor & Matthew Holton; Amanda, Emily & Austin Braswell.She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Ralph B. Wilson and 15 brothers and sisters, including Lillie Ferguson, Ruth Watkins, William Batson and Maude Poole.Affectionately known as Granny or "Aunt Gent", her love and generosity to so many will never be forgotten. Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Grand View Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:30 till 8 at the mortuary.The family will be at the home.Memorials may be made to McCall Hospice House, 1836 W.
