Geneva C. Henderson, 88, formerly of Westcliffe, died May 19, 2004, at Summit Place Nursing Center. Widow of Robert Albert Henderson, she was born in Six Mile, a daughter of the late Kirksey and Rennie Bryson Chapman. Mrs. Henderson was an employee of Winn-Dixie for more than 40 years. Surviving are her son, Robert E. Moore and wife, Linda, and a granddaughter, Sherry Moore, all of Greenville; a grandson, Jerry Moore of Burlington, N.C.; brothers, O'Neal and Harvey Chapman, both of Liberty; sisters, Linda Kelly and Janice Chapman of Liberty, Ann Ramey of Easley, and Nancy Cannon of Six Mile; stepmother, Elizabeth Chapman of Liberty; stepchildren, Robert A. Henderson Jr. of Easley; Donald Henderson of Abbeville, and Carolyn Lowry of Greenwood; four stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Kirksey "Junior" Chapman and Buford Chapman. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home, with burial at Graceland Cemetery, West. Family members are at their respective homes.
