Obituary of Gary-Steven Carter

CARTER Gary Steven Carter, 46, passed away October 6, 2003 after an extended illness. He was born in Jacksonville and after a lengthy Naval career, he lived his remaining years in Jacksonville. He enjoyed his garden and wood working. Gary is survived by his loving wife, Sherry; mother, Phyllis McDonald; father, Frank Carter; children, Kristen and Steven; grandson, Anthony. He is also survived by his sisters, Lisa Flecha, Cathy Maiale and Carrie Carter, as well as his extended family; nieces, Emily, Lindsey; nephews, Eric and Anthony; step-brother, Randy; step-sisters, Cathy and Connie. A memorial service in celebration of Garys Life will be held on Friday, October 10th, at 3:00 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of Our Savior, 12236 Mandarin Rd., with the Rev. John Palarine officiating.
