Obituary of Gary-Roland Morin


NORTH ANSON -- Gary Roland Morin, age 64, died Friday, May 20, 2011, at Togus VA Medical Center. He was born Oct. 14, 1946, in Providence, R.I., the son of Andre and Marcell (Petit) Morin. Gary graduated from Johnson High School in 1963, then worked as a truck driver and self-employed mechanic for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and partying with family and friends.He is survived by his partner, Deborah Rolfe, of North Anson; Putzs, his loving dog; three sons, Gary R. Morin of North Anson, Brian S. Morin and wife Sharon of North Anson, and Jason A. Morin and wife Carol of North Providence, R.I.; three step-children, Jim E. Cullington of North Anson, Kyle Chevalier of Rhode Island, and Tracy Ray of Johnston, R.I.; a brother, Richard A. Morin, and wife Marie of Cranston, R.I.; a sister, Sandea Ullucci; a brother, Dennis Morin; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.He was predeceased by one grandson.A celebration of Gary's life will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Dan & Scott's Cremation & Funeral Service (Adams Chapel), 445 Waterville Road, Skowhegan.In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations to the Gary R. Morin Memorial Fund, c/o Deborah A. Rolfe, P.O. Box 143, North Anson, ME 04958.Arrangements under the care and direction of Dan & Scott's Cremation & Funeral Service, 445 Waterville Road, Skowhegan, ME 04976.
